From the strict biosecurity of our farms and hatchery, state-of-the-art technology in our processing operation, to our commitment to the planet, our people and our animals.
With a strong commitment to animal welfare, we produce and sell fresh RSPCA Approved chicken to a wide variety of retailers, wholesalers and other customers.
Our values are underpinned by a long-standing family history and ‘local business’ reputation.
We are, and have always been, based in Victoria. We are proud to be a supporter of the local Bendigo community and one of the largest employers in the Bendigo region employing more than 1,000 locals.
A new era
In 2021, the Hazeldene family partnered with BGH Capital, a leading Australian and New Zealand private equity firm, who are working with the management team to realise the next stage of the Hazeldene family’s dream.
The future is very exciting as we plan expansions across both our processing capacity and farming practices so we can continue delivering the best products possible and feeding Australian families with premium quality Australian chicken.
